NBC to host Ed McMahon celebration

NBC have announced plans to host a celebration of the late Ed McMahon.

The former Tonight Show announcer, who passed away earlier this week aged 86, will be honoured by the network on July 1.

McMahon's publicist Howard Bragman has said that details, including the guest list, are still being finalised for the untelevised event.
