The US chatshow, infamous for its fights between guests, has been running for 19 years. The 65-year-old has hosted the programme since its inception in 1991 and said that he is puzzled by the attraction it holds for viewers, Contactmusic reports.
He said: "We've been doing this show for 19 years now and I'm really sorry for that. No-one had any idea that it would last all these years."
It was recently reported that a proposed move of the Jerry Springer Show from its current location in Chicago to Connecticut was met with opposition from locals.
