The pair will join Al Pacino, who will portray Kevorkian, the doctor convicted of second-degree murder in 1999 after assisting in more than 130 suicides.
The film, which chronicles his life, is said to be loosely based on Neal Nicol and Harry Wylie's book 'Between The Dying And The Dead: Dr. Jack Kevorkian's Life And The Battle To Legalise Euthanasia'.
Sarandon and Goodman previously co-starred in 2008's Speed Racer.
