The reality talent show judge will earn £250,000 as the UK correspondent on entertainment programme The Early Show, The Mirror reports.
A US TV source said: "We absolutely love her. She has great charisma and a fantastic cut-glass English accent. We couldn't think of anyone better for the job."
A friend of the presenter added: "She's thrilled. It's a huge opportunity for her."
Holden first presented The Early Show last month, while she has also been tipped to front a Surprise, Surprise-style programme across the Atlantic.
Her first interview as the long-term host of The Early Show will reportedly be with fellow Britain's Got Talent panellist Simon Cowell.
