'Jon & Kate' ratings 'plunge after split'

The reality series returned to TLC this week after a six-week break and has lost approximately 6m viewers from its divorce announcement show in June, TV Guide reports.
The first half-hour of the episode averaged 4m viewers, while a second instalment increased to 4.2m. By comparison, the June 22 programme that the pair announced their separation on was seen by 10.6m, which made it the series' highest-rated show.
Kate Gosselin will give her first TV interview since her break-up with her husband Jon on NBC's Today show with Meredith Vieira on Monday.
