'Family Guy' abortion plotline revealed

The Fox network decided against airing the "controversial" 'Partial Terms Of Endearment' instalment last month, but said that it could make its way onto a DVD release.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story was to centre around Lois Griffin acting as a surrogate for a childless couple, who are later killed in a car crash. She is then left with the choice of whether or not to keep the baby.
A source told the publication that the episode was "very graphic, very morbid" in regards to the abortion process, though the segment was to end on an ambiguous note. However, it is understood that creator Seth MacFarlane added an addendum, in which Peter Griffin pops into the frame at the episode's end and says that his wife went through with the procedure.
MacFarlane recently announced that he was readying two Star Wars-inspired instalments for the animated show's upcoming season.
