Mischa Barton has hinted that she does not want to star in hit US drama, The O.C., forever.
The actress, who has appeared in films such as Notting Hill and The Sixth Sense has claimed that her heart belongs to the big screen, according to the Female First website.
"I'm going back to film," Barton said. "It could go against me to be in a long-running show."
