Former Friends star Matthew Perry has called his guest appearance on Scrubs, "a gift".
The episode, which airs on November 23 in the US, sees Matthew making his directorial debut, and starring alongside his father.
"That was just a wonderful gift that they gave me," Perry told Zap2it. "The story was a father and a son and my father's a wonderful actor. And my uncle's actually in the episode, so it's kinda a family affair."
Praising the cast and crew of the show, he added, "They have to work much longer and harder hours than we did, so I kinda feel sorry for them.
"They are just an amazingly loving and creative group. It really reminded me of the Friends crew in that way. Everybody is just happy to be there, happy to work really hard."
