Dave Franco becomes 'Scrubs' regular

Dave Franco has reportedly joined the cast of ABC's Scrubs as a series regular.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 24-year-old actor, who has previously appeared in Greek and Privileged, will play Cole, a "charming, conservative, confidently stupid and incredibly entitled medical student".

It was recently announced that Eliza Coupe has been promoted to a regular on the comedy series, while Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke have confirmed that they will return to the show for six episodes of the upcoming ninth season.
