Elisabeth Hasselbeck, co-presenter on the popular US chatshow, recently gave birth and will not come back to the programme until mid-October, TV Guide reports.
Meghan McCain will fill in for her from September 9 to September 11, while former Fox News anchor E.D. Hill will be a panellist on September 23 and September 24.
The names of additional guest presenters will be made available at a later date.
The View will return for its 13th season on September 14.
