Gosselin to guest co-host 'The View'

Kate Gosselin has reportedly been added to the lineup of celebrities who will co-host an episode of The View next month.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star will stand in for regular presenter Elisabeth Hasselbeck on September 14 and 15, according to The AP.

Hasselbeck is currently on maternity leave from the ABC daytime chatshow after giving birth to her third child earlier this month.

Other famous faces that have previously been confirmed as guest hosts include Meghan McCain, the daughter of Senator John McCain, La Toya Jackson and Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill.

The View returns from its summer hiatus on September 8.
