CNBC has axed tennis star John McEnroe's primetime talk show.
Poor ratings have been blamed for the show's demise. It averaged 75,000 viewers per night, and on some nights, it barely registered in the official ratings tables.
An internal memo from CNBC's senior vice president for primetime programming, Bob Meyers, to employees at the channel said that CNBC was "very proud of what the show unit achieved in Studio C every day."
