MTV is keeping the Simpsons on board its schedule through 2005.
The network has ordered one final season of Newlyweds, the fly-on-the-wall series following Jessica Simpson and husband Nick Lachey, for January.
Also returning in the New Year is The Ashlee Simpson Show, which tracks Jessica's younger sibling as she embarks on a singing career.
A new series is planned along the same lines for Lachey and his own solo career after Newlyweds ends.
