Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, with drug paraphernalia reportedly found at the premises. It is being suggested that he passed away from an overdose.
The 36-year-old had just completed filming on the reality show with a focus on youth recovering from addiction, TV Guide reports.
The show was to begin airing in October, though his rep said that no decision had been reached regarding the future of the show.
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who survived a plane crash with Goldstein in September 2008, recently paid tribute to his late friend.
