Taylor Swift's CMA performance seen by 7.8m
The CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock led ABC to a primetime victory on Monday night, according to the latest viewing figures. The coverage, which featured performances from Taylor Swift and Kid Rock, averaged 7.84m for ABC.

CBS's primetime schedule comprised repeats: the 8pm hour was made up of two episodes of How I Met Your Mother, which drew 4.85m and then 4.87m. Two And A Half Men followed at 9pm, pulling in 8.3m, then The Big Bang Theory grabbed 7.67m at 9.30pm.

A new Dateline NBC, which detailed the final hour of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, interested 7.66m during the 10pm hour. Earlier, repeats of Law & Order: Criminal Intent put in 4.84m and 5.7m at 8pm and 9pm respectively for NBC.

Over on Fox, a repeat of House was seen by 4.32m during the 8pm hour. The audience then fell to 3.8m during the 9pm screening of a Lie To Me repeat.

The CW also ran with repeats; the 8pm screening of One Tree Hill managed 1.46m, then Gossip Girl logged 1.27m during the 9pm hour.
