HBO greenlights new comedy pilot

The project, titled Enlightened, sees Dern star as a self-destructive woman who has a spiritual awakening. Production is scheduled to begin in December.
White said of the comedy: "The only thing I can think of cooler than making a show at HBO is doing it with Laura Dern. I am totally stoked."
HBO recently gave a series order to Terrence Winter's Boardwalk Empire pilot, which stars Michael Pitt, Stephen Graham, Steve Buscemi and Kelly Macdonald.
