Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has admitted that a pay dispute ended the show.
While appearing on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Cattrall explained that demands for salary increases from the show's stars stopped plans for a seventh season, and a movie.
She said, "I felt after six years it was time for all of us to participate in the financial windfall of Sex and the City.
"When they didn't seem keen on that I thought it was time to move on."
However, Cattrall has not ruled out playing Samantha again: "If the deal was right and the script was fabulous, absolutely I would."
