Griffin 'dresses as Gosselin for TV skit'

Kathy Griffin has reportedly dressed as Kate Gosselin for a forthcoming television skit.

The 48-year-old donned an asymmetrical blonde wig, sunglasses and a purple bikini during her impersonation of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, People reports.

"She was walking around the hotel and people actually thought she was Kate," an onlooker said.

The My Life On The D-List comedienne will appear as the mother-of-eight next week in the segment taped for US chatshow Jimmy Kimmel Live, while Star Trek actor George Takei will portray Jon Gosselin.

Griffin added: "Kate who? Just call me Kathy Gosselin. All I need now is a sexy bodyguard."

Griffin recently admitted that no-one would ever mistake her for Jennifer Aniston, despite undergoing plastic surgery procedures to enhance her appearance.
