Sarandon daughter 'to portray stripper'

Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri is to guest star on the third season of Californication as a stripper.

The 24-year-old actress has admitted that portraying an erotic dancer was "not easy" and revealed that she attained numerous bruises while training for the part, reports The Huffington Post.

Amurri said: "I had to train quite a bit. I had stripper bruises. I was quite banged up.

"Stripping is not easy, I will tell you. I have huge respect for people who do pole dancing. Stripping is incredibly empowering."

Season three of Californication, starring David Duchovny, begins in the US on September 27.
