Kate Gosselin 'tapes chatshow pilot'

Kate Gosselin has reportedly filmed the pilot episode for the proposed chatshow she is to be involved in.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star was apparently in discussions to be a presenter with Food Network host Paula Deen for the Telepictures-produced venture last week.

The series, tentatively titled Mum Logic, also features Lee Woodruff (wife of ABC reporter Bob), former Early Show personality Rene Syler and comedian Judy Gold, according to Hollyscoop.

The cast taped the first instalment on Sunday at the same studios that house Martha Stewart and Tyra Banks's US talkshows, while it is speculated that Melanie Brown was their first guest on the programme that focuses on working mums.

"It will not be The View. Definitely not," a source said. "It is Paula's programme. [She] has final authority. They're still working on the guests."

Gosselin recently appeared in a guest co-presenter capacity on The View.
