Gosselin: 'I have the gift of gab'

Kate Gosselin has claimed that her "gift of gab" makes for a logical career move to television.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star has been in talks to present a chatshow with Food Network host Paula Deen.

The pilot episode for the tentatively titled Mum Logic was filmed over the weekend with co-presenters Lee Woodruff, Judy Gold and Rene Syler, while Mel B was rumoured to be the first guest.

Gosselin, 34, was signing copies of her new book when she fielded questions from the audience at the Southern Women's Show in Charlotte, NC, the Charlotte Observer reports.

"I've been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?" she said. "It is sort of like a career move, so I had to do it."

The mother-of-eight recently appeared in a guest presenter capacity on two episodes of The View.
