The 36-year-old will play Roxie Torcoletti on the ABC show, one of three small town women who discover that they have supernatural powers after a mysterious stranger arrives in their hamlet.
The TV update of the John Updike novel - which was also a 1987 movie that starred Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon and Michelle Pfeiffer - features the former Ugly Betty actress playing mother to a 15-year-old.
Romijn told Star Pulse that Roxie got pregnant at a "very, very young" age.
She said: "Yeah, she was married before. She's a widow and she apparently got pregnant when she was very, very young. She's referred to as the town sl*t.
"I have a younger boyfriend [on the show]. I would say I'm a complicated woman who is attracted to sexy men."
Romijn recently claimed that the adaptation differs from the cinematic version, while she has "huge shoes to fill" in playing the same part that Cher portrayed on the big screen.
Eastwick will premiere Wednesday, September 23 on ABC.
