'NCIS: LA' makes impressive debut for CBS

At 8pm, the season seven premiere of NCIS logged a massive 20m, then the show's new spinoff, NCIS: Los Angeles, made an impressive debut with 18.3m during the 9pm hour. Later, at 10pm, 13.7m tuned in for the series premiere of Julianna Margulies-fronted drama The Good Wife.
The CW's 90210 continued to drop, falling to 2.2m at 8pm. Melrose Place followed at 9pm, bringing in 1.5m.
Over on NBC, The Biggest Loser averaged 7.4m between 8pm and 10pm, and 6.8m watched The Jay Leno Show at 10pm.
Dancing With The Stars logged 14m for ABC between 8pm and 10pm, then The Forgotten, which stars Christian Slater, Michelle Broth and Anthony Carrigan drew 9.5m during the 10pm hour.
Fox's two-hour Hell's Kitchen put in 6.8m at 8pm.
