The region's Justice Minister Tareck El Aissami claimed that the US animated show advocates drug use, Contactmusic reports.
The government cited an episode of the Seth MacFarlane-created series which sees the characters seemingly champion the legalisation of marijuana.
Authorities announced yesterday that they would financially penalise network bosses who ignore the ban.
It was previously reported that the Fox network had decided not to air a "controversial" episode of the programme dealing with abortion.
