CSI star Louise Lombard has admitted that she was shocked when a producer advised her to visit a morgue to prepare for her role in the show.
Lombard plays an investigator forced to work the graveyard shift on the popular drama. However, she wasn't impressed by the producer's recommendation.
She told TV Guide, "I turned to her and said, 'That's where the acting comes in'. There's no way I'm going to see a corpse just in the name of research. I'm dedicated, but not that dedicated."
The actress has already filmed scenes which saw her character inspecting a pool of vomit.
She added, "The next shot was me putting my hand down a toilet. I've waited my whole career to do that."
