The comedienne accidentally let the profanity slip in her debut appearance in the series, during a sketch with co-star Kristen Wiig.
While in character as a biker, she said to Wiig: "You know what? You stood up for yourself, and I f**king love you for that."
The slip aired live for East Coast viewers but was censored by the time the programme aired on the West Coast.
Speaking to Us Weekly, NBC spokesperson Sharon Pannozzo said: "[There is] no truth to firing conjecture. She will not be fired."
Slate, 27, joined the cast of the long-running show earlier this month.
