The actress, who played Jane Andrews Mancini on the original Fox series, was confirmed to reprise her role on the update in June.
The 38-year-old's visit to her former TV residence will see her character step into the landlady role of her deceased sister Sydney (Laura Leighton), who turned up dead in the apartment complex's pool in the series premiere, E! reports.
Bissett apparently has incriminating evidence on the tenants and will get into a heated exchange with the show's resident bad girl Ella (Katie Cassidy). It is unknown if she will share any scenes with her ex-husband Dr Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro).
It was recently reported that her former co-stars Heather Locklear and Daphne Zuniga will also appear on the remake this season.
Melrose Place airs tonight at 9pm on The CW.
