Fox to welcome 'The Intruders'
Published Monday, Oct 5 2009, 15:37 BST | By Lara Martin

The Intruders revolves around a rich country club dad who falls for a "white trash" woman and shocks his children by moving her family into his mansion.
The show is based on the real-life experiences of Comden's wife as a child in Arizona.
"I kept hearing the networks are looking for a family show, and I had a highly comical show staring directly in my face, the family I chose to marry into," he explained.
"This is an examination of the conflicts and class differences of these two polar-opposite words trying to co-exist under the same roof. Picture Ralph Lauren at a monster-truck rally."
The project, from Warner Bros TV, has script commitment with penalty from Fox. Comden will write and executive produce with Wonderland's McG and Peter Johnson.
