'Bored To Death' handed second season

HBO has renewed freshman comedy Bored To Death for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series, from creator Jonathan Ames, revolves around a mentally blocked writer-turned-private investigator played by Jason Schwartzman. Ted Danson, Zach Galifianakis and Olivia Thirlby also star.

The half-hour comedy continues Sunday at 9.30pm on HBO.
