Reports then surfaced which suggested Helen Hunt was being lined up to take over the role. However, it has since emerged that a deal could not be made between Hunt and NBC.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, former Gilmore Girls star Graham is the latest actress to be linked to the show, which would see her star alongside Peter Krause, Erika Christensen and Dax Shepard.
