According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Hudson: I'll Be Home For Christmas will see the former American Idol finalist relive her childhood holidays with musical performances filmed in her favourite locations.
ABC's Vicki Dummer said of the show: "I can't wait to hear her take on Christmas classics as we discover what she loves about her hometown of Chicago."
Hudson, who welcomed her first child earlier this year, recently performed alongside Miley Cyrus and Kelly Clarkson at the 'VH1 Divas' concert in New York.
