The Family Guy spinoff received an additional pick-up for 13 episodes prior to its US TV premiere on September 27, which brought its total to 35, TV Guide reports.
The series, about Peter Griffin's former neighbour Cleveland Brown, had one of the highest-rated scripted show openers of the autumn season, scoring well among the 18-34 demographic.
The programme was originally slated to make its first appearance on the network in the spring. However, it was pushed back to autumn to allow more time for its development.
Cleveland is co-created by Family Guy's Seth MacFarlane, Rich Appel and Mike Henry - who also lends his voice to the titular character.
