The CW orders more 'Melrose Place'

The pickup takes the first season total to 18 episodes, four fewer than the traditional 22. The remake of the '90s drama has struggled in its Tuesday night slot, where it is averaging around 1.5 million viewers to rank as the network's least-watched series.
Last month it was announced that Heather Locklear would be returning to the show as bitchy ad executive Amanda Woodward from the November 17 episode.
