Speaking to Saturday Night Magazine, the 22-year-old actress, who plays Ella Simms on the Melrose reboot, described the show as "the Westside Gossip Girl".
"I think on a stylistic level it's like the Westside Gossip Girl, she said. "It's edgy, it's cool, it's dramatic, it's young and fun and appeals to all different audiences.
"And Gossip Girl is really good at what they do, so I'm flattered to be compared to them."
It was recently announced that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Colin Egglesfield are exiting the CW series.
