FOX to air Muslim PSAs after '24' anger
Published Saturday, Jan 15 2005, 00:34 GMT | By James Welsh

The network has decided to offer the PSAs to local affiliates after the Council on American-Islamic Relations said that the network's popular primetime drama, 24, was showing American Muslims in a negative light. CAIR spokesperson Rabiah Ahmed was quoted by the Associated Press as saying that the first four episodes of the current season "confirmed our concerns that the story was going in a dangerous direction: casting a shadow of suspicion on ordinary American Muslims."
CAIR expressed hopes that local stations will schedule the PSAs to air around 24's timeslot.
