HBO has ordered a third season of In Treatment, it has been announced.
Actor Gabriel Byrne, who also serves as a co-executive producer, will return to his role as Dr Paul Weston, while other parts are expected to be cast shortly.
Anya Epstein and Danny Futterman are joining the drama series as executive producers following the earlier departure of Warren Leight.
Production on the new season is slated to begin in early 2010, with a premiere date scheduled for later in the year.
