According to Hollywood 411, either Detective Robert Goren, Detective Alexandra Eames or Captain Danny Ross - played by Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian respectively, will be murdered in an upcoming episode.
The episode in question will also mark the exit for the other two characters.
Reports suggest that Erbe is unhappy with the way the story has worked out. "She was told everything was going fine, and then they were fired."
Jeff Goldblum will apparently become the main detective on the show after the trio depart.
