TNT greenlights George Clooney pilot

TNT has greenlit a new George Clooney pilot called Delta Blues.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project also sees Clooney team up with Liz Garcia and Josh Horto to executive produce.

Delta, which was put in development at the network 18 months ago, follows a Memphis cop who lives with his mother and moonlights as an Elvis impersonator.

TNT is said to be nearing a deal to pick up axed cop drama Southland, which stars former O.C. actor Ben McKenzie.
