The Wire star Idris Elba is teaming up with NBC for a new legal drama.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 36-year-old actor, who played Russell 'Stringer' Bell in the US show, will reportedly executive produce the project alongside Battlestar Galactica's David Eick.
The untitled show centres around a vigilante lawyer who fights to defend his clients against a corrupt district attorney and city establishment.
Elba's previous screen credits include The Office, CSI: Miami and Law & Order.
