NBC
Earlier this month, reports suggested that the cable network was considering picking up the Ben McKenzie-fronted series after it was unexpectedly axed by NBC.
According to various reports, TNT will begin airing Southland Tuesday, January 12 in a 10pm slot. It will go up against NBC's The Jay Leno Show, a programme which has previously been suggested as a reason for Southland being dropped.
TNT will apparently air the seven-episode first season as well as the six unaired episodes of season two, which were original scheduled to broadcast as part of NBC's Fall schedule. The network will then decide whether to order additional episodes.
