The detective thriller, starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, will replace Microsoft as the sole sponsor of Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, according to The AP.
The new deal comes after Microsoft backed out of its exclusive sponsorship deal over concerns about content.
It had originally been planned that commercials for Microsoft Windows 7 would be weaved into the episode instead of the usual adverts.
A sneak preview of Sherlock Holmes will now air during the broadcast instead.
