'Flight of the Conchords' to end?

Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement has revealed that the comedy series may not return for a third season.

The actor, who stars in the HBO show with Bret McKenzie, said that the future of the programme needs to be discussed with director James Bobin.

Clement told Reuters: "It very likely might not [return for a third season]. It could come back in a shorter season or like a special."

HBO spokeswoman Nancy Lesser added: "We've left their future entirely in their hands. We would love to have more."
