President Palmer is making a return to 24 at the end of this season, Reuters said Tuesday.

The return of former series regular Dennis Haysbert comes just days after the news that Reiko Aylesworth and Carlos Bernard - Michelle Dessler and Tony Almeida in the show - would shortly be making a comeback.

Haysbert will appear in the final six episodes of the season, although exactly what Palmer's involvement in the plotline will entail remains to be seen.
