Lady GaGa has been praised for her commitment by an executive producer of Gossip Girl.
The singer has filmed a cameo role in an upcoming episode of the CW drama, which has been described by star Leighton Meester as "really cool".
Stephanie Savage told Rolling Stone of GaGa's input: "She was amazing.
"She was willing to stay on set and perform silently in the background of all of our shots so that she could stay a part of the scene and [be] integrated into the action."
For the scene, filmed at at New York's Angel Orensanz, GaGa performed a unique rendition of upcoming single 'Bad Romance' with the track featuring show-specific lyrics.
There are currently no plans to officially release the new version of the song.
