The Project Runway host, who gave birth to daughter Lou Sulola Samuel last month, will helm the programme on November 19, People reports.
It is thought that she almost passed on the offer to serve as the show's host "to take it easy and see what happens" after her recent delivery.
"Heidi is superwoman. She had a baby a few weeks ago and she is hosting the most high-profile fashion show in the world," said Ed Razek, Victoria's Secret president. "Victoria's Secret is thrilled to have her back. There is no-one like her."
The show will be televised on December 1 at 10pm on CBS.
