The 71-year-old actor, who played the father of Monica and Ross Geller (Courteney Cox and David Schwimmer) on Friends, will return to NBC for his appearance on the long-running crime drama, TV Guide reports.
Gould will portray an angry Harlem-based business owner that turns vigilante after a crime spree occurs in his New York City neighbourhood.
His one-off episode is scheduled to air on Friday, November 20.
