In June, the network ordered five episodes of the UK-inspired comedic reality show, in which celebrities re-enact famous dance numbers from pop culture.
Comedienne Kathy Griffin was recently announced as the presenter of the programme, which was scheduled to premiere on Monday, November 23 after the finale of Dancing With The Stars.
The series, from American Idol producer FremantleMedia, has encountered difficulties in finding celebrities to take part, a source told The Hollywood Reporter.
The insider added that it is not uncommon for shows of this nature to experience such problems, though the projects do not usually get so far as to have a premiere date attached to them.
ABC is reportedly expected to replace it with series Find My Family, which centres on people meeting long-lost relatives and loved ones.
