'Life' almost over for 'As We Know It'

ABC has given clear indications that OC-style series Life As We Know It is being cancelled.
The show has struggled to find an audience against competition from Joey, Survivor and indeed The O.C. in its Thursday night slot, despite a number of recent reruns on MTV.
Now the network says that it is "unlikely" to order more episodes beyond the intial thirteen completed. "It's been one of my frustrations," ABC president Steve McPherson told reporters at the weekend. "Sometimes you do your best and you come up short."
The two unaired episodes look likely to remain so, in the US at least: the show premieres in the UK on LivingTV, February 17.
