The comedy, starring Zachary Levi, will resume airing Monday nights from January 11, although the first episode will air January 10.
It is also confirmed that Heroes will have a special two-hour episode on January 4, before returning to the 9pm slot to make room for Chuck.
This season's Chuck will feature guest appearances from Angie Harmon, Brandon Routh, Armand Assante, Steve Austin and Robert Patrick.
