'Shrek' boosts ABC's Friday ratings

An average of 6.34m tuned in between 8pm and 10pm, beating last Friday's lineup of Ugly Betty and Supernanny, which logged 4.45m and 5.03m respectively.
Over on CBS, Ghost Whisperer drew 8.43m at 8pm, 7.8m tuned in for Medium during the 9pm hour, and the 10pm Numb3rs put in 7.84m.
NBC's Law & Order took 7.52m at 8pm, then Dateline managed 7.64m at 9pm. Later, at 10pm, 4.75m watched The Jay Leno Show.
Smallville logged 2.45m for The CW at 8pm, then 990k tuned in for an America's Next Top Model encore at 9pm.
Reruns of House and Bones put in 3.34m and 3.66m for Fox at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
